Planetside 2

Planetside 2 is a (Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter.) MMOFPS from Sony. The game offers a non-stop battle in which thousands of troops slug it out in a variety of environments. Similar to the MAG (PS3) aspect of many players on one map, this FPS is definitely one for the books. The Closed Beta shut down November 16, 2012 in preparation for the official release. Planetside 2 launched November 20, 2012. IGN's coverage of Planetside 2 begins with our Starter Guide and will soon extend into a comprehensive resource and reference for players to access.


Gears of War: Judgment release on March 19, 2013

On May 31, 2012 Game Informer teased a new Gears of War that was originally dubbed the Gears of War Project. Now the official title has been revealed to be Gears of War: Judgment. [1] It was confirmed by Epic Games' president Mike Capps that Polish developer People Can Fly, the team behind the off-the-wall Bulletstorm, will take the reins of this new Gears of War project. [2] Furthermore, long-time Gears of War scribe Karen Traviss will not be involved with Judgment. Gears of War: Judgment will be released on March 19, 2013.


Crysis 3 release on February 19, 2013 (US)

When will Crysis 3 be released? The current release date for Crysis 3 is Spring 2013.

What platforms will it be available on?

Crysis 3 has been announced for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation3. Developer Crytek has gone on record to state that it is unlikely for this shooter to appear on Nintendo's Wii-U console.

Where does Crysis 3 take place?

Crysis 3 will once again take place in New York, but things have changed remarkably since the last go-round. New York has been encased in a biodome that transforms the concrete-dominant city into a literal jungle, an environment reminiscent of that in the original Crysis.

Will there be new weapons?

Prophet will be able to use all-new alien and Nanosuit technology to vanquish his enemies of the Cell Corporation. Also, as seen on the new Crysis 3 cover, there will a whole new futuristic compound bow which will be with you for most of the game.

Will Crysis 3 be open-world?

Cevat Yerli of Crytek had this to say: "Crysis 3 is a thrilling mix of sandbox gameplay, advanced combat and hi-tech human and alien weaponry that shooter fans will love. Leveraging the latest CryENGINE technology, we're able to deliver seven unique themes that offer stunning and visually loaded gameplay experiences. We cannot wait until people get their hands on the game." [1] The game will give you a lot of space during combat, but will put you in the spot where you can correctly see scripted explosions and other cut scenes.

History of Crysis 3 Leaks and Rumors

There have been several leaks that point to the imminent announcement of Crysis 3. IGN reached out to EA for a response to the leak and the company provided the following statement: "The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16."[2]


The Elder Scrolls Online release on May 3, 2012.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

The single-player campaign will feature two connected storylines, one set in the 1970s through 1980s and the other in 2025. The protagonist of Black Ops, Alex Mason returns as the protagonist in the Cold War section, where he will be fighting in proxy wars for the United States in the Cold War. Known locations for this section of the game include multiple sites in Central America and in Afghanistan during the Soviet invasion. This section of the game will also see the rise to infamy of the game's primary antagonist, Raul Menendez. In 2025, a second Cold War erupts between China and the United States. War is defined by robotics, cyber warfare, unmanned vehicles and other modern technology. Taking advantage of this stand-off, Menendez attempts to bring the two superpowers to a full-blown war by inciting conflict. Both Multiplayer and Zombies Modes have been altered to give veteran players a new experience with much more choices.


Hitman: Absolution

Hitman Absolution is the fifth game in the Hitman: Codename 47 franchise which features the titular character "47". Hitman: Absolution will be released onto Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 20, 2012. Hitman Absolution follows the events in Hitman: Blood Money, after Diana Burnwood assists 47 in escaping machinations from the Agency and other interested parties. Absolution will follow 47 on a quest to repay Diana's prior efforts by locating a mysterious girl named Victoria; 47 will need to protect Vika from the depredations of the Agency and other interested parties.
